A Feast for all the Senses this September

The best night out is back with a bang, as dinner and show dates announced.

The hotly anticipated Two Acts Two Courses experience is finally back at The Blue Room – bringing Blackadder, Baldrick, Queenie and the rest of the crew to the stage.

The Blue is an iconic and historical venue situated in uphill Lincoln near the castle. It’s played host to many critically acclaimed shows and events.

Now, the Cakes & Ale theatre company return to The Blue Room after a long hiatus holding one of their incredibly popular Two Acts Two Courses evenings this September.

On the 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th of September join foodie and theatre lovers alike for a staged recreation of classic episodes of one of the greatest British comedies of all time; BLACKADDER II.

Steve Gillard, Artistic Director said: “We genuinely cannot wait to welcome you back with us. Not only will our visitors enjoy top notch entertainment but they’ll also indulge their taste buds with a delicious two course meal, prepared by Stokes’ fantastic chefs, as part of their ticket price.”

Written by Richard Curtis and Ben Elton for the BBC, Blackadder is a comedy that regularly tops “all time best,” lists and will certainly make for a great evening out for all ages.

In this production Blackadder tries to survive becoming the Lord High Executioner, schemes to inherit a fortune from his puritanical relatives, outwit the Baby Eating Bishop of Bath & Wells and finally find the love of a good woman called… Bob.
