This event was an example of a local community coming together to hold an afternoon that was enjoyed by all!
Despite the rain many, many families turned out to support and enjoy the wheelbarrow race, best dressed king and queen competition, chocolate cake challenge, craft and tombola stalls, a raffle and many other attractions.
There was live music by the fantastic Gina Stone during the afternoon and The White Hart played host with food and drink available.
The event ended with a well-supported quiz on a royal theme.
Huge thanks to all those who made sure that Carlton Le Moorland had a Coronation Celebration and the re-introduction of our Charity Day. The band of volunteers, who came forward in numbers, made all this possible.
The Lewis Foundation, a small charity helping cancer patients, received £352, The Ukrainian Appeal £470 and the St. Mary’s Church Clock Appeal £470.
The generosity of those who attended and those who contributed before the event made this all possible.
