Dunholme Christmas Market and Tree Lighting

This year’s Christmas Market in Dunholme is hoped to be the biggest and best one yet. Taking place from 1pm-4.30pm on Saturday 25th November, thanks to the success of last year’s market, organisers have been lucky enough to be able to expand into the Dunholme Indoor Bowls Club as well as Dunholme Village Hall.

Many stalls will be making a return from last year, as well as a few new faces meaning there will be plenty of choice to get people started with their Christmas shopping (or finish for those organised people) in a lovely festive atmosphere.

Once again, the market will be joined by a local choir for a good old singalong of carols, and stallholders include the Brownies with their wonderful cake stall, The Body Shop, Beehive Bakes, Rhys’ Resin and Woodwork, Dunholme Playgroup, The Candy Garage and so many more.

Following the market, the village Christmas tree will be lit at 6.30pm at Mainwaring Close, with mince pies and Dunholme Brownies singing carols from 6pm.

This year, fundraising will be for a new inclusive play area off Honeyholes Lane, and plans will be available to see on the day along with the neighbourhood plan.
