From Rock Bottom to Rock Solid

Scothern resident Jaynie Denham lost her husband Nigel in 2017 after he sadly died of a rare form of sarcoma cancer, only 20 weeks after diagnosis.

Since then, she has focused her efforts on fundraising in memory of Nigel and is currently just shy of raising £16,000 over the years.

Her latest venture sees her taking her seven-year healing journey to the big stage at the Lincoln Arts Centre in September with her show ‘UNF*****GLEASHED’ which is no typical sob story. This f-bomb dropping badass widow will take you on a wild ride through the ups and downs of grief and loss through the power of holistic therapies, a spiritual practice, a lot of pinot grigio, amazing music, a disco ball, a wicked sense of humour and a love of dressing up.

Witness how she unleashed herself from the tight grips of childhood trauma, society’s expectations and her own self-limiting beliefs to find happiness and joy in life once more. She is a testament to the power of human spirit and a gentle reminder that no matter how tough life gets, there is always hope for a new tomorrow.
