Launched in 1997 with an aim to change the attitude towards BBQing and summer eating, the campaign has helped grow the BBQ market from 9 million BBQ occasions in 1997 to around 135 million in 2019!
This year the 26th National BBQ Week will return from the 4th – 10th July celebrating over a quarter of a century of better British BBQing and Gastro-grilling.
Boasting sponsors such as San Miguel, Birds Eye’s Green Cuisine, Sainsbury’s British Pork, Robert Dyas and Encona, this campaign offers delicious recipes, information on how to barbi on a budget, safety tips, beginner’s guides and so much more to ensure us brits are making the most of our BBQing tradition.
Their BBQ RoadShows are a key part of the annual celebrations, and they will once again be making their way across the country to serve tens of thousands of brilliant BBQ food and drink samples to foodies and festival goers.
