Krazy Races Soap-Box Derby Comes to Lincoln

Lincoln is set to get a little wackier this year as Krazy Races comes to the City on Sunday 15th September.

Krazy Races is a free to attend, national award-winning soapbox derby event, aiming to bring all manner of wild and zany races to towns & cities across the U.K and beyond, while raising substantial funds for local charities.

The popular soapbox derby event has welcomed over 150,000 visitors and raised over £100,000 for local charities in 2023 alone with events across the country.

Krazy Races is now on the lookout for 20-40 local teams to take on the challenge in Lincoln. The event sees a mixture of individual, charity and business teams design, build and then race their handcrafted soap box in front of up to 20,000 locals.

Lincoln Krazy Races will be the first of its kind to be held in the city. The racing route will contain chicanes, obstacles and more with racers expected to be cheered on by over 15,000 locals.

As well as fantastic races, Krazy Races are looking to work with local stakeholders and businesses to bring together entertainers, food stalls and more, giving families a fantastic day to remember. Krazy Races have worked with some big names across the country including; theatres, manufacturers, car dealers, educational institutes and even Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers.
