Launch of Christmas Lights Walking Tour

After recently being awarded the ‘Arts, Culture and Heritage’ award at the Destination Lincolnshire Tourism Awards, we are so pleased and proud to be able to say our walking tours are now award winning! Big thank you to everyone that has supported us to get to this point.

Moving forward, we want to continue to push and try new things with our tours. Therefore, to help supplement our range of existing award-winning walking tours, we decided to launch a limited Christmas walking tour to take advantage of the wonderful festive feel that the city takes on once the Christmas lights are switched on in November.

Taking place on Thursday evenings from 5.30pm on the 15th and 22nd December; these festive tours will take place under Lincoln’s fantastic Christmas lights. We will take an evening wander from the west front of Lincoln Cathedral, following the lights down from Castle Square into the lower city, ending up in the beautiful Cornhill Quarter.

Along the way you will learn about the history of Lincoln’s fascinating and historic Steep Hill and High Street; with some festive stories thrown in for good measure. This is a completely new tour, with lots of new stories not featured on our usual walking tours. As with all our tours, these will be free to book and attend, but please consider leaving your guide a tip at the end. Booking is available on our website, places are limited so consider booking early to avoid disappointment.
