Lincoln’s clothes swap with a twist: meet stylists, rework your clothing and swap garments!

Fashion lovers around Lincolnshire are in for a treat! Sudbrooke small business, Prikli Pear, and secondhand market Imp & Flea, and community project Lincoln Clothes Swap present a clothing swap with a twist, ‘Swap, Stitch, Style’ on 8th October, 10am-3:30pm.

Introducing a clothes swap with fashion stylists on hand, a Stitch Station for upcycling your clothing and preloved sellers to rework your wardrobe all in the centre of Lincoln.

The venue, Trinity URC Church on Garmston Street is a spacious and fully accessible church, hosting up to 150+ people so there will be plenty room to move around.

During the event, you can bring up to 5 preloved items that you would like to either, alter, swap or re-style. No stains, rips, or tears please!

SWAP your clothes | STITCH to renew | STYLE to refresh your look

The clothes swap will run all day, with stylists floating around to help out. Stitch Sessions will be running throughout the event, provided by local womenswear brand Prikli Pear at an optional charge of £5 per person. This is where you can learn how to repair your clothing or alter it to fit. Sewing machines and all equipment has kindly been provided by sponsor, Fabric Corner, Lincoln.

After the event…There will be a Halloween Costume Swap from 3:30pm-5pm. This is where you bring your preloved fancy dress and accessories, and swap for this year’s Halloween costume.
