On the 25th March it will once again be time to don your best headwear and raise vital funds for Brain Tumour Research.
Approximately 16,000 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour in the UK every year, and there are estimated to be over 60,000 people living with a brain tumour. By raising money for Brain Tumour Research, you will be helping them build the UK’s largest network of experts in sustainable brain tumour research and campaign for more investment nationally. With the help of fundraisers, together we will find a cure.
Each year Brain Tumour Research asks us to find the silliest hat we can find, and wear it for the day at home, in your community, at school, at work, everywhere and anywhere! – simply visit www.braintumourresearch.org/fundraise/wear-a-hat-day to register for your free fundraising pack to help you plan your event and maximise your fundraising.
There is also plenty of merchandise to bring your event to the next level, and new for 2022 is a set of collectable Wear A Hat Day pins – all with a regal theme to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. They have all been inspired by the following royal hats: The Queen’s Life Guards; the Colonel of the Blues and Royals cavalry regiment; the famous Beefeater hat; and the Imperial State Crown.
Their new signature brooch is a limited edition with only 500 produced and each one comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity. This has its own royal connection as it has been designed by Rachel Trevor-Morgan, Milliner to Her Majesty The Queen.
So, grab your caps, top hats, beanies, berets, cowboy hats and more and help in the fight against this devastating disease. You can visit www.braintumourresearch.org to find out more about their mission, fundraising activities and how to make a donation.
